Privacy and the way this site works

Reading without an account

Health Reading Notes serves static pages. You do not need an account to read them. The site provides no comment box, questionnaire, appointment system, payment function, newsletter subscription or facility for sending personal notes. It does not ask you to submit symptoms, a health history or contact details.

The writing exercises are suggestions for your own paper or document. They do not create an online record within this publication. If you choose another application for your notes, that application’s access and storage arrangements are separate from this site. The publication cannot view, retrieve or delete a note stored elsewhere.

Requests to the hosting infrastructure

The publication uses Cloudflare Pages to serve its pages and assets. A request over the internet involves technical information, such as the requested address, network information and data sent by the browser. The absence of an account or a form does not mean that no technical processing occurs in delivering a page.

Cloudflare describes its practices in its privacy policy. This publication does not promise a universal retention period for infrastructure records or claim to control every independent action of an internet provider, browser vendor or external service. Those providers may have their own information and controls.

Assets and measurement

Styles and illustrations are loaded from this site. The current source includes no external video player, map, social widget, visitor analytics script, advertising pixel or personalised advertising system. It does not send a saved reading note to the publisher, because no such saving or submission function exists here.

The browser may still keep a local history, cached files or bookmarks according to its settings. These are browser functions. On a shared device, consider the settings and access arrangements appropriate to your use. The publication cannot change those controls on your behalf.

Cookies and security mechanisms

This edition does not implement its own advertising cookies, account cookies or personalisation features. Technical providers may use mechanisms required for delivery and security. You can inspect the information and permissions shown for the domain in your browser and manage available controls there.

This description is about the functions actually included in the current publication. It is not a guarantee of anonymity, a certification of legal compliance or a claim that every third-party system behaves in the same way. The actual response configuration should remain consistent with these limited functions as the site evolves.

Leaving through a link

An external source link opens another service. That destination has its own practices and may offer forms, accounts or other functions absent from this site. Read its information before submitting personal details or using a service there. A citation is provided to identify evidence, not to make the destination part of this publication.

The site’s configured referrer policy limits referral information sent on cross-origin navigation. It does not prevent the destination from receiving information needed for your direct connection to it or control the destination’s separate processing.

A new function that collects information would need its actual operation described before use. The date above identifies the edition of this explanation. No current statement should be read as permission to submit health information through an unrelated channel.

The terms explain the educational and historical boundaries. The accessibility page describes implemented reading and navigation features. Neither creates a patient relationship or a private communication service.
